The Tribune Events Group created a new event, Thrive - Mind Body Soul Wellness Retreat, where attendees can improve their well-being by discovering the teachings, techniques, tips and trends that inspire a fuller and healthier life. A brand identity and multi-channel marketing campaign was needed for Thrive. I led art direction, designing the event brand identity and ad campaign in collaboration with designers on my team, as well as providing content, art and layout direction for the website. Inspiration for the logo was taken from the periodic table of elements to reflect the event's focus on enhancement of elements of the mind, body, and soul. A soothing color palette, modern typeface and a trio of calm spa images were selected to reflect the rejuvenating, refreshing and re-energizing aspects of Thrive.
